London Fashion Week: Events and shows open to the public
No tickets for London Fashion Week shows? No need to miss
out. This year London has a schedule of exciting events open to the
public, from discount shopping and catwalks to free workshops.
So, while renowned press, designers and buyers descend on the capital for the biggest shows of the season, you too can get a piece of the action during London Fashion Week with these events:
Live streams
We’re geared up with a live stream broadcasting the shows as they happen, bringing you a front row view. However, if you’d prefer to watch the show while shopping with a glass of champagne in hand, then visit Whistles’ new St Pancreas store, which will show it on a big screen, offer drinks, DJ and a complimentary.

Make your own pair of shoes
London College of Fashion will be offering free cobbling workshops to teach you how to make a new pair of shoes. Yes, you read right, free!

Oxford Circus
The capital’s busiest high-street is bringing LFW to its fashion hungry consumers thanks to British Fashion Council’s CEO Caroline Rush, designers Lulu Guinness and Henry Holland, and TV presenter Laura Whitmore. From Friday 12 September, Oxford Circus will host style seminars, competitions and showcase exclusive clothing collections. Some of the best destinations include Topshop, Coast and Warehouse, who will offer styling sessions, and Gap, who will offer a distressed jean workshop.

Fashion drawing inspiration from the archives
If you want a reprieve from the digital era, then visit the selling exhibition Drawing on Style: Four Decades of Elegance. It opened its doors on Thursday 11 and is showcasing original fashion illustrations from Post War 1940s.

Fashion Night Out is back for the sixth time this year and will take over two of the UK’s largest shopping streets: Oxford Circus and Regent Street.
